Ingredients

1 tbsp ground flax seed

1 tbsp coffee powder

150g chocolate

100g dairy free butter

2 tsp vanilla essence

150g golden syrup

200ml soya milk

200g plain flour

30g cocoa powder

1 tsp bicarbonate soda

½ tsp salt

*50g dairy free white chocolate chips

* 50g chopped pecans

*make it your own- you could change the choc chips and pecans for 100g chopped dark chocolate or you could try dry fruit or crushed biscuits, whatever you like!*
Method

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Make up a flax egg using the flaxseed plus 3tbsp of water and stir in the coffee powder.

In a pan on a low heat melted the dairy free butter and stir in the chopped chocolate to melt. Once melted take off the heat and stir in the vanilla, golden syrup, soya milk and flax egg.

In a large mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients- flour, cocoa, bicarb and salt.

Pour in the liquid ingredients into the mixing bowl and stir until combined. Then stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.

Bake in oven for 15 mins.

It should come up still very gooey so may be best to eat with a spoon!
