Toad in the hole


  • 4 vegan sausages

  • 200ml soya milk

  • 75g flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 200C

  2. Cover the base of a casserole dish with a thin layer of vegetable oil, place your veggie sausages in and cook in the oven for 10mins.

  3. Make the batter by whisking the soya milk into the flour, baking powder and salt.

  4. Take out the sausages and turn them over.

  5. Pour batter into the dish

  6. Back in the oven for 25 mins

    Goes well with roast potatoes and veggies 🙂
